A honeymoon is to be a time for the newly married couple to get away from their normal routines and have some time with each other. If there was a big wedding ceremony that took place chances are they haven't had too much time recently to focus on each other without interruptions. There is no limit when it comes to the type of honeymoon you want to enjoy. It comes down to the budget you have for the trip, how much time you want to be away, and what activities you want to engage in.
It is your time, so you need to decide where you want to travel. Maybe you know about a place that you both have enjoyed before and that you want to visit again. Some people choose romantic far off destinations like Paris or the Caribbean. Beaches like California and Florida also make great honeymoon destinations. If you are the more adventurous and fun type you can try Disneyland or Las Vegas.
When you plan your trip make sure to look at the various options and packages which are available. Depending on your budget you can make your own travel arrangements or you can use a travel agent. Honeymoon Packages are usually more expensive if you do make your own arrangements and do not take an organized package. If you don't plan to spend very much time in your hotel room though you may want to save money on this lavish plan and go with something more moderately priced. If you have a tight budget you may want to look into an all inclusive honeymoon package. This means the cost of everything including meals will be in the price you pay.
Keep it in mind that this is an experience of a lifetime and life is made up of memories. So wherever you are traveling on you honeymoon, go out there and build memories.. Keep a copy of your itinerary and confirmation numbers on an extra sheet of paper handy. Remember that the honeymoon is about you, so make sure that you do not over commit yourself on things to do.
