The best location to hold your honeymoon is the one which you and your partner will enjoy. Ok so maybe you think that answer is a bit of a cop out, however its true. Its impossible to give you an exact answer as everyone wants something different from their honeymoon holiday destination. Nobody else can answer this question for you, it is just something that you will need to think about yourself.
In order to choose the perfect honeymoon destination you should sit down with your partner and decide what you would like from a honeymoon. Where would you like to go? Perhaps there is somewhere you have always wanted to go but never had the chance, well this is the perfect excuse. When you have a list of everywhere you would like to go then check whether you could afford this. Will you have a large enough budget to do your favorite thing on the list?
Budget Honeymoon Destination
The best value honeymoon holiday would be a cruise, this is especially true if you live near the sea and dont need to fly to the port. The cruise will take you to different destinations which you can then check out. You get to see quite a few different destinations on a cruise.
Cruises can vary hugely in length, they might just be a few hours long and others can last for a few weeks. Cruises are so great because you dont always need to pack and unpack your stuff. You will stay in one room (or cabin) for the duration of your stay, but that room will move to different locations! Most of these cruises have food included in the price which makes it very easy to budget for your holiday expenses. You won't have to sell your contemporary engagement ring to afford it. There are many different destinations which you can go to with cruises, including Hawaii and Tahiti and even places further away!
The Best Honeymoon Destination Closer to Home
You dont have to travel to the other side of the world to have a nice time, there are perfectly good honeymoon destinations that are much closer to home. You also won't have to sell your engagement ring to pay for it. Perhaps within just a few hours drive away you could get somewhere nice. The USA has several locations which are of interest to honeymooners including Aspen, Orlando and of cause Hawaii.
There are many things that you can do without leaving the country, or even perhaps the state. You could ski, go white water rafting, gamble, or even go to Disneyworld. There is no right or wrong answer when planning your honeymoon, its completely up to you.
You just need to be prepared to compromise when looking for honeymoon destinations. You need to have some activities planned which will be fun and allow you to relax in the company of one another. This will allow you to start your new life on the right foot.
