There are a lot of ways to save a marriage and each one has its own concerns, but one question that seems to rise to the top is can your marriage be saved if only one spouse wants to save it.

Getting straight to the point are there ways to save a marriage in trouble if only one person wants to make it work. Thankfully this can be answered yes.

While you may think there is no way that a marriage can be made better especially when one of the people has no desire to work things out or even worse wants to see the marriage come to an end, it really is not as crazy as it may seem.

Why is this? One reason is even though there is just one person working on different ways to save a marriage that person represents one half of that couple. That is fifty percent of the couple. In other words you have as much power as your other half.

Also there is a good chance that the other spouse is caught up in a wide range of emotions. They may not be sure that ending the marriage is the right thing to do or not and will not do anything as a result while the spouse trying to make it work will do everything in their power to win back their loved one.

One advantage you have working for you is your history with your spouse. No matter how long you have been married you have the good times to look back on and great memories the two of you share.

The odds are probably not nearly as bad as you may think no matter what everyone else would like you to believe.

No matter what the events that are taking place, there will always be ways to repair a marriage in trouble. Whether you are just having some hard times or you are you just about ready to get a divorce you can have some hope as long as one person in that couple keeps on working to fix things up.

For example, if the wayward spouse is hesitant about counseling or recoils from any clear-cut attempt to repair the marriage, then it would be best for the other spouse to subtly but persistently push toward that goal. Or, if the hesitant spouse is open to accommodating a few changes in the marriage (if not actively implementing them), then all the other has to do is teach, influence, and allow his or her idle mate to learn from what he or she has to say.

There are plenty of ways to save a marriage even when only one person is working on it. There is one thing you need to remember and that is you need to go about things in the right way. That is where the need for professional information comes into the picture.

Even though your hard work can make things better you will need professional and credible advice. You need to know what ways to save a marriage will work for you. With the right information in your hand there should be no doubt who is coming in to the battle better equipped.
